Ok I am a Stanley lover, I’ll start there so you know I really thought about this list and that it wasn’t surate by some Stanley hater. I myself have 2 Stanleys, the LoveShackFancy Stanley (the one at this link is 1000% fake so don’t buy it) and the Art Deco Stanley.
If we are being totally honest, not all outings are Stanley outings. I’ve grown so accustomed to having my Stanley with me all day and staying hydrated (that’s a major benefit of having a Stanley, or any water bottle really). When I go to places where I can’t carry around my massive cup, or if I’m nervous it will spill everywhere, I just leave it at home. …Or I just take it along with me and I kind of feel like a weirdo with my giant cup with a straw.
It forced me to find more adaptable, travel, and commute friendly. Here’s my top 4 water bottles to replace, or supplement your Stanley.
4 Water Bottles That [I Think] Are Better Than A Stanley
Top Pick for Outdoors
OWALA 24oz

This water bottle is perfect if you are outdoors or active. I bought this water bottle because I play beach volleyball and I bike there everyday. I couldn’t bring my Stanley because it would be an absolute mess of spilled water if I tried. The Owala is idea because I can throw it in my backpack and know it will not spill. The 24oz size is also perfect for carrying (it doesn’t weigh as much as a small baby like my Stanley can).
Brumate Resa 35oz

The Brumate Resa was introduced to me by a friend who thought I was crazy for crazy my Stanley with me everywhere I went. She would tell me how amazing the Brumate Resa is because it does not spill. She did not lie. This does not spill. I use it most when I need to go to my co-working space. My hands are always full juggling my work bag, my coffee, and everything I need for the day and this water bottle has been a complete game changer. Highly recommend this.
Simple Modern 24oz Tumbler

I stumbled upon this tumbler and I’m pretty glad that I did. It is insulated so I use this with both hot and cold beverages. I also found the straw option and the sip top option so perfect. When I’m snowboarding, the sip top goes on and the tumbler is filled with my green tea. When it’s summer, you better believe there is ice water with lemon and the straw top. Truly a versatile water bottle
Hydroflask 32oz Water Bottle

The hydroflask is an absolute classic and a staple in my water bottle quiver. I use as a refill option when I am out and about for the day, or if I’m running errands. It is insulated so it stays cold all day. If I am running from the food store, to target, to CVS, and wherever else I need to go, you better believe my hydroflask is sitting in my passenger the whole time.
