We are so close to it officially being the start of Summer! June 21 aka my birthday is the Summer solstice and the official first day of Summer. The Summer kickstarts what is, according to me, the best season of the year.
The longer days, the sunlight, the warmer weather, and just overall good vibes is what makes Summer so amazing. As we start to embrace the higher tempts and beach weather, it’s important to make sure we don’t skimp out on our self-care routines. In fact it’s the perfect time of year to embrace a new routine that promotes self-love.
For me, journaling on my porch in the morning is the ultimate way to kickstart my day in the Summer. It’s a great way to boost your self care routine as well – and we all know how much I am an advocate for self care.
Journaling is such a great practice and it’s really for everyone, no matter your age – you can journal as much or as little as you like. I personally think journalling is great for adults – if you need more reasons here’s 5 to start in your 30s.
Here are some journal prompts you can use to improve your summer self care routine and starting journaling in June.
