The Jeep Wrangler is the ultimate Summer vehicle. I bought my Jeep back in 2015 and I truly couldn’t imagine a summer without it. There really is something special about driving around without the top on and the doors off – especially when it’s to the beach.
When I first bought my Jeep Wrangler I wasn’t really sure what I needed to make it summer ready. I honestly didn’t know what Jeep accessories were even out there to make my life easier. With 9 Jeep Wrangler summers under my belt, I figured it was time to put together a list of some of my favorite products that are necessities for the summer.
Before we get into the good stuff here are 3 things to know about getting your Jeep Wrangler ready for summer.
1. If you have a soft top, you’ll want to use it.
Soft tops are great for the summer. Jeep Wrangler soft tops are so versatile and can easily transfer your Jeep from a fully enclosed vehicle to a convertible. One thing to note about soft tops, especially if you live in a busier area – they do make your jeep not as secure as it would be if a hard top was on. The zipper system is very easy to just unzip from the outside. Make sure you do not leave anything of value in your Jeep when you have the soft top installed.
2. leave extra hair ties in your jeep.
If you haven’t driven in a Jeep Wrangler with the top off yet, let me be the first person to tell you to make sure you have extra hair ties in your Jeep. The knotty mess that long hair becomes, instantly, is the worst thing to deal with. Whether they are for you or for your friends who you are driving, bring extra hair ties and leave them in your center console – throwing in a brush wouldn’t hurt either. 3. Make Really Great Summer Playlists.
Maybe this is just me but one of my favorite things to do is blast music while driving in the perfect summer weather. Having great summer playlists not only puts you in a great mood but add in driving around in the ultimate summer vehicle, the Jeep Wrangler, you’re setting yourself up for an epic summer day. Not to mention when you have the top and doors off the Jeep Wrangler so everyone around you is hearing your music too!
