I am really starting to get hit with cabin fever. Not having the ability to go anywhere or do anything is getting to me. Quarantine life is pretty tough. I like being spontaneous and doing whatever I want whenever I want. Call me the queen of last minute plans because if I decide I want to do something, I’ll just make it happen then and there.
On Instagram last week, I asked everyone where they could go if they could go anywhere (check out the post below). My favorite response – TJ Maxx. I felt that. Let me waste all my money buying clothes and furniture and shoes and make up. I miss it. But seriously, lots of people want to go to Moab (I get that, it’s on my bucketlist), the beach was a big one too, and even Ireland. It was pretty cool reading everyone’s responses. It got me thinking of all the places I would love to be at right now.
Iceland

I’ve seen too many pictures of the Blue Lagoon and the Northern Lights, so it’s about time I make this trip happen. Seriously, flights are not that expensive from the east coast and there are so many beautiful places to explore. Would you judge me if I said I wanted to watch the Northern Lights in one of those glass igloo thingys that were blowing up Facebook a few months ago? Because I do want to.
Badlands National Park

South Dakota hasn’t always been a destination of mine. No offense, I used to be one of those people that just over looked the states in-between the east and west coasts. That has totally changed. Over 240,000 acres are in Badlands, where you can see bison and bobcats roaming around. For an east coast girl, it’s basically unseen territory. Between the crazy history that took place on, and because of, the land and that beautiful natural landscape, Badlands National Park is somewhere I need to go.
Bali

Am I being basic with this one? Yes. I have seen so many pictures of people playing with baby elephants and swinging on swings in the middle of the ocean, and I would love to be in a tropical paradise right now being just like those people. Bali is one of those places that I don’t think really exists because the pictures look so fake.
Dubai, UAE

My father travels internationally often for work, mostly in the Middle East, and I have always been obsessed with Dubai because of how often he frequented it. The pictures he brings back and the stories he tells are incredible. If there’s any place I’ve ever wanted to explore it’s Dubai. I want to go to the helicopter pad on top of the Burj Al Arab Jumeirah and do donuts in a F1 car (Watch the Red Bull Racing video if you have no idea what I’m taking about). I’d be happy immersing myself in the crazy luxurious lifestyle of Dubai.
TJ Maxx | HomeGoods | Marshalls

If you only thought I was going to mentioned this briefly in the opening, you were rudely mistaken. I miss going to TJ Mass, Marshalls, and HomeGoods to get a specific item, or nothing, and leaving with 20 other things. Scanning every single display and rack is therapeutic and I need it in my life right now.
Right now it’s incredibly important to stay at home and I’m all about flattening the curve, but you can still dream of traveling! Where would you go if you could go anywhere?
